New and Notable: Ming & Ping

Here’s an album cover that is going to cause a stir. Ming & Ping are identical twins from Hong Kong who have relocated to L.A. and are set to release what I believe is their fourth synth album, Ming & Ping. I’m not sure if this is the final cover. The concept sketch that appears on their website is a bit more elaborate.

In the sketch, we see a reaction similar to the one I would have if my identical twin brother Frank licked my cheek. Yeech! Maybe people who don’t have a twin aren’t as squeemish about this kind of thing. It really creeps me out.

Here is a music video for a song called Legends of Nothing. I don’t know whether or not this is from the upcoming album.
