Album art recreated using audio cassette tape

clash-london_05.jpgAlbumArtExchange user gege has discovered a series of artistic images on Flickr that were created using audio cassette tape as a medium. The audio tape is removed from the cassette and applied to canvas. One image is a recreation of the classic album London Calling by The Clash (right).

We’ve recently seen the art from London Calling album used to adorn a pair of Converse high tops. However this is the first time that I have seen audio cassette tape used to create an image. To make it even more interesting, the audio cassette used was actually one of London Calling. This takes recycling to another level!
