Cover art for new Sade single revealed

The cover for Soldier of Love, a new single by Sade, was revealed via news release today. The song is the title track from the artist’s forthcoming album (right). The album is scheduled to be released on February 9, 2010. The single does not yet have a release date.

I was very impressed with the cover art for the album when it was released a few weeks ago. The cover for the single is just as stunning. It features a beautiful portrait of Sade wearing a huge amount of silver jewelry. It conveys an exotic and primitive image that works quite well with the concept used on the album cover.  

I have to write that the covers for both the album and the single are certain to be my favorites of 2010. I will try to find out who the art director for this project is and report back with an update later.
