delphi-doubts.jpgBritish alternative dance band Delphic recently released their debut album Acolyte. The cover art for the album and the single Doubt (right) are a great way to start off 2010.

The album features a photograph of the band floating in what looks like the tentacles of a jellyfish. The cover of the single is a detail of the strange viscous effect. I do not have any information on the photographer or art director for this project.

The band’s song This Momentary was featured as the free download of the week on the U.K. iTunes store this week. I was pleasantly surprised. The song reminds me of New Order’s Crystal.
