Cher revealed the cover for her forthcoming album Closer to the Truth via her official Facebook page today. Many fans were surprised that Cher chose to wear a blonde wig for the cover. She also wore a sheer white negligee. It almost looks like a 1970s boudoir photograph. Closer to the Truth is scheduled to be released on September 24, 2013. It will be Cher’s 26th solo studio album and her first album in 12 years.

Made Up Mind by Tedeschi Trucks Band was is second place with 25% of the vote. There was a tie for third between Doris by Earl Sweatshirt and John Mayer’s Paradise Valley, which both received 7%.
The winning cover features a painting by New York City artist Michael Kagan. The painting is titled “Pilot 2” and it is one of four by Kagan used for the album packaging. Art direction is credited to Gerard Saint and Markus Karlsson.
